Quite frankly - the non-NCAA tourneys really are meaningless anyway.
So HECK NO, we should not pay to host a game. Goodbye CIB, CBI or whatever the heck your name is.
And NIT, you'd be stupid to pass on a 20-win team from the Big Ten, but if you do, then I guess we just wait until next year.
It'd be nice to get the tourney experience for next year, but it's not worth paying for it or begging the NIT for it.
On to Indy first. It'd be nice to see NU win a couple and make it to the CBS games.
