[NU Sports] We lost to crappy Indiana

You kinda wonder what the situation would have been had our schedule been the reverse -- play hot and get on a roll early and then be in the limelight with the showcase games at the end. Oh well.

Penn State appears to be one of those cases where they just have our number. Like Iowa with PSU in football.

Losing at IU and Iowa hurts, but road games are tough and Crean will have the Hoosiers back in a hurry.

But when you put all that together, it's a bummer of an ending to the season ... especially after getting our hopes up ... and that after a horrible start with Coble out.

It'd be nice if the roller coaster continued and went up again with a nice NIT run to set up for next year.

And once the initial disappointment wears away and we all look back, this is one of the most successful hoops seasons in NU history -- and the future looks bright in Evanston.
