[NU Sports] We lost to crappy Indiana

Perhaps, led by the indomitable Shurna and Thompson, with contributions from others at many key times, this group has played over its head and deserves plenty of credit and appreciation for all of the excitement - - not to mention more wins than any other Cats squad - - this season has brought.
A shame that the 20th and a nice road win didn't come today for those kids, who've worked so hard...
But maybe that historic # 20 and more excitement are to come in the Big Ten tourney and NIT. :)
As the regular season ends, this fan - - who has watched just about every televised game - - is grateful for all of this season's surprises and fun.
Here's to the program being on the rise!

We are "reverse peaking" at precisely the wrong moment. Poor foul shooting (even Shurna missed a key deuce), lazy passing, lack of effort on the boards, etc. I fear the Fat Lady may sing early at BT Tourney.

Carmody said earlier this week that Crawford has a hip flexor prob and is in a fair amount of pain.

Definitely the sign of a team without a potent bench - it has really caught up to the Cats. Marcotullio had his big moments today, but missed a layup and an open three late that could've meant a win in regulation.
Cats fought all the way, had an improbable comeback to send it to OT, but this overtime loss hurts. Not enough help for Shurna and Thompson, too many defensive lapses and missed gimmes. So many things that might've made a big difference. A shame to have such a good shot at win #20 and not get it. Hoping it'll come in the Big Ten tourney.
Shurna and Thompson, despite all the minutes, carried the team with 56 combined points. Can't afford
