Can't be done.  Early season games might conflict with Cubs playoff games or have field turnaround time issues.

I agree with you on having it on a throwaway game, but logistically the Ill-whine-I make a lot of sense.

Perhaps playing UT-Austin at Wrigely there in November, 2016.  Fire up the grills and cook some longhorn among the ivy.

This would be the perfect venue for whatever I-AA team we're playing next year, or whatever year a Wrigley Field game would take place. That game doesn't draw well anyway so would be perfect for the novelty factor. Also, it should only be done in years in which we have at least seven home games.
