Well, I didn't want to dump EVERYTHING on the B(C)S :) (though I hear they were part of the BP fiasco ...) ... but you're right.

Although, the Big XII was responsible for the messed up 3-way tie fiasco for the title game a couple years ago -- and they are the ones who looked at it from day one as a pain in the butt for the B(C)S (because their real title game was played in Dallas in October) instead of a boost for the winner into the B(C)S title game - as the SEC views it. (Though I would have liked to see if those SEC folks would be as chipper if Arkansas had upset the title favorite one of those years :) )

Hmm, interesting. The summary on orangebloods.com was pretty interesting to see all that the "Forlorn Five" (love that name!:) ) gave up ... though I'm still trying to see how it all adds up for UT, ATM and OU. And what do they think will happen when the contract ESPN now grossly overpaid for is up?

Oh well, on my summer swing through the midwest, most of the people I ran into seemed excited about Nebraska coming. I think the Hawkeye and Badger fans are especially pumped as it gives some prime-time games to the western half of the league and could give them some overdue (in their words) recognition to be on par with the east. And Michigan and MSU have recent contact with UNL via the Alamo Bowl and are looking forward to rematches.:)

NU fans don't seem to have too much to be excited about though ... I guess we'll have to settle for another home game every two years where we get swamped with red (yaa for the gate ... boo for the red) ... we just better not move a "home" game to Arrowhead! At least they shouldn't be a threat to our quest for a March Madness berth!:)

GO CATS!!!
