Well, you'll still have MY big trap to deal with on the B-C-Mess! :)

I don't think this expansion changes anything in terms of the B(C)S -- Boise could still be shut out, or even worse (politically at least because of their clout), say OU is having a down year and Texas goes 11-0 with their biggest win being their lone conference challenge against OU, so they get left out in favor of Big Ten and SEC teams who have survived far more rugged leagues AND title games. :)

I was actually hoping the Big Ten and Pac 10 would go to 16, play their title games and have the winners meet in Pasadena. Chuck the B(C)S, SEC and all the other garbage until we have a real playoff!

Pasadena or playoff! The rest is just a sea of BS.

GO CATS!!!

PS - In all seriousness, I think this helps us with the B(C)S ... we have a far more credible conference with UNL and if team like, say, OSU were to lose a game early in September, they could work their way back with big wins against PSU and (a RichRod-less) Michigan and vault back into the picture with a title game win against UNL or Iowa. We won't be dormant for a month while the rest of the B-C-Mess sorts out.

Just so the B(C)S computers don't keep favoring the depleted Big XII like they did for UNL and OU's title game appearances when they DIDN'T EVEN WIN THEIR LEAGUE'S TITLE (OR PLAY FOR IT IN UNL'S CASE) ... which shows how AWFUL the B(C)S is ... but don't get me started :) ...
