If there is any justice in the universe, Notre Dame will now be forced to join the Moutain West.

BTW, I don't know how many of you follow the website 'Sippin On Purple' (put that in Google), but the guy has a rather funny article about Nebraska.

Utah has been extended an invitation to join the Pac-10, it appears they may accept as
early as tomorrow.  That would appear to leave a hole in the Mountain West conference, 
which just recently added Boise State as its 10th member.  

So while this may shut down the threat of Texas and its four acolytes leaving 
en masse for the Pac 10, it means the conference shuffle may not be over yet.
