I agree that this was a low point for the program, but an educated
husker fan might respond with a few of our low moments too. For
example, a head coach that claimed to know nothing of a gambling
scandal. Or a head coach that knew nothing of an asthmatic taking a
substance that led to his death at an unauthorized practice. They
might suggest that at UNL those coaches would have been on the first
bus out of town.
In other words, it's tough to make these calls from a distance.
