That was definitely a black mark for the Huskers. (You could probably find poor handling of other incidents within the BT as well),  But by and large I think they have run fairly upstanding programs

I not thrilled about this. Call me old fashioned, but I have never looked at Nebraska the same way after how they handled Lawrence Phillips. He physically assaulted a female scholarship athelete and was still allowed to suit up for UNL. If that were to ever happen at NU, I am confident that the player involved would be given bus fare out of Evanston.
