[NU Sports] A sign of respect?

In Vegas overnight ... been here pretty much once a year since moving out west in some way or another ... anyway, stopped at a sports book to pick up some odds sheets and what do I see?

Northwestern listed on the B(C)S Championship sheet at 100/1 odds.

Not great, but it's the first time I've seen NU listed as a bet# - usually the Cats are just one of "the field" ... have we started to make waves?:) We've held steady at 100/1 since the release in February, so that's good I guess.

BTW, OSU remains the slight fave over Alabama, Nebraska and Florida ... Iowa and Wisconsin are also moving up the list. Another big mover? U-Dub out west. Big decliners? Oregon, Ole Miss and Cincinnati.

BTW - NU is one of only six Big Ten teams listed -- the big four and Sparty joins us at 100/1. Michigan is not. Neither is Ill-noise.

Anything to start talking football ...
