Reading between the lines I think Clark hit it dead on.  He would have to
rush back before his doctors thought he would be fully recovered, risking
permanent injury.  Why do that?  Get your degree and get on with your life.
 He was a pleasure to watch on the court and off and always handled himself
with poise and maturity beyond his years.  He was and is a tribute to a
Northwestern education not just a Northwestern athlete.  We were lucky to
have him play for as long as he did.  I hope he has a full recovery that
allows him to have all options available to him after graduation.  I'm sure
he'll be successful at whatever he chooses.
