[NU Sports] Vanderbilt game - parking

Maureen,

Parking at Vanderbilt is a lot better than Dyche. That is largely due to all of
the Vanderbilt Medical Center parking complexes on campus. They also have open
fields for parking and private "pay $15 to park here" lots near campus. If
you're willing to walk 12-15 minutes, you can park up in the nearby
neighborhoods at no cost.

Go Cats!
Jim

The family(Maureen, Marc, and 2 dogs) are headed to Nashville.
We are totally looking for a second away trip as we were already going to
Minnesota for a Twins/Gophers double-header -- both new stadiums.
With the evening kick at Vadny we can leave Chicago Saturday morning between
7-8am, check into the Red Roof, feed the dogs, and still make dinner and the
game. 492 miles 8 1/2 hours from Kildeer to Hotel and another 17 miles to the
stadium.
Tickets looks to be dog cheap on a scalp site -- $29 for 45 yard line, but we
will still buy at the stadium. Parking looks questionable maybe similar to
Dyche, but we will find something.
Anybody else planning on making the trip?

Our season opening football game against Vanderbilt will kickoff at 6:30 pm on
September 4 and will be televised on Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast, which is
only available on cable in the Southeast. See
http://www.css-sports.com/pages/about_us

But it will also be available on ESPN3.com (the new ESPN360), as well as ESPN
GamePlan. So it sounds like we'll be hooking the laptop up to the TV again.
That's worked OK a few times in the recent past.
