[NU Sports] Game day

Could history repeat itself 2 years in a row ? 

No one expected the lowly Cats to upset MSU a year ago in East Lansing but somehow we managed to do so. And those of us on this list old enough will remember NU beating a Magic led  eventual 1979 champion Spartan team by 18 points for our first and only 1 of 2 BT wins that year

I suspect that with MSU beating us so handily earlier in the month ,they will take us lightly and may be ripe for a big upset.

I must have missed whatever started this thread. Why on earth would anyone be complaining about Carmody now - in 2010. I complained about him plenty in 2002, 2005, 2008, etc. But here we are, finally making some moves, and some folks are still complaining? We're going to make the tournament either this year, or next year for sure. I've seen improvement in every aspect of Cats basketball. I'm enjoying watching the games, as we've been competitive in nearly every of them. I'm pretty certain that we have never won more than about 17 games in any season in our history. We're going to break that record this year. Go Cats! - Jim B.
