[NU Sports] Ouch

BC coach-of-the-year ?  Maybe in the Ivy league, but not in the Big Ten.
 
There are at least 4 coaches who have done a far superior job than BC (probably more)
 
- Tom Izzo (of course)
- Bo Ryan
- Thad Matta
- Matt Painter
 
If BC were to get such an award, it would be more a 'Lifetime Sympathy Award'
 
This quote from the Yahoo team report pretty much summarizes our loss Tuesday night:
 
"The Gophers were a team in tatters before salvaging a home win against Northwestern on Jan. 26, but this is still a staggering Minnesota team susceptible to a knockout punch."

Even funnier, Carmody is likely to win Big Ten Coach of the Year, so it
ould probably be a bad idea to fire him after this season.

 in March.
