[NU Sports] What's the magic number?

   I say 21 wins is neccessary; 22 would be better.  22 wins assumes beating Chicago St., and going 10-8 in conference.   We have the capabilities of going 7-2 on the "back nine', but as harry pointed out, there are no gimmes, especially on the road.

Does 20 wins before the Big Ten tournament mean NU is in? 
If so six more wins are required. Chicago State is one. That's 15. 
A split with Iowa seems reasonable. 16. 
Can we count on sweeps of Indiana and Penn State? I say no. PSU tortures NU, 
sp. at State College. At best 3 out of 4. 
Beat Michigan. There's 20. 
So any bonus wins like at Minnesota or Bucky Badger just be icing. 
Is it that simple?
