[NU Sports] My first games instead of hoops talk

First college game:  September 20, 1975 Archbold Stadium, Syracuse, NY.  The stadium that preceded the Carrier Dome had no actual seats or bleachers only concrete slabs circling on about 25 levels.   

Syracuse 10 Iowa 7.  Face price on the ticket was $7.00.

First NU game:  October 1, 1988.  Indiana 48, NU 17.   Byron Sanders led the Cats with 42 rushing yards in front of an announced 27,113 at Dyche.  QB was a guy named Bradshaw who went 13-25.  We outpunted the Hoosers 7 to 0 according to my scrapbook.

First NFL game: November 23, 1970.  My dad took me to my first NFL game when I was in 3rd grade.  Monday Night Football at Franklin Field, Eagles 23 Giants 20 in a game that was immortalized in an Odd Couple episode with Howard Cosell as a guest star.
