[NU Sports] Cats-Purdue

I completely agree with those sentiments. Obviously we would all like the
'Cats to succeed, and to do so at the highest level. Undoubtedly this is the
same goal that the University administration, athletic department, coaches
and players have. NU sports in general have made great strides in that
direction.

The basketball program has been a laggard. This years jackrabbit start may
have created expectations that were not realistic. The Big Ten season is
usually a sobering dose of reality and this year is no exception. The great
non-conference start made it that much harder to swallow Big Ten season as
the losses started to pile up.

Take Willie's advice-enjoy it for what it is-probably the most exciting
basketball season we've had in decades, and an unexpected one at that. It
doesn't mean we can't hope for and strive for better!
