Maureen and I both have been very down on Rowley.
There was a glimmer of something last night. Beyond the makes in the free throws he played some good defense. If this were in the pre-conference schedule I would be excited about his improvement come conference time, but it is a bit too late for on-the-job-training. Maybe next year he will play like his physical presence.
A group of NUMBalums showed up to help the band drown out the perdoo fans. I think it worked, but maybe it was just the way the cats played.

And today's production from the center position (which according to Mr
Brandt we don't have anyone who can play at NU):
20 pts, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, one block, only two turnovers, and 8-8 from the free-throw line.
