[NU Sports] Let's Go Cats!!!

I was just a LITTLE bit sidetracked by watching a certain football game this afternoon :) ... but every time I flipped over, it seemed like the typical NU game. We'd jump out to a 6-8 point lead, they'd come back to get within 2 or tie.

Thankfully, I got to turn over at the end and saw NU finish off a top 10 team at home. Great purple atmosphere (and nice to see a trickle to the court at the end of the game, not really a rush ... maybe we're getting used to this) and a great bounceback win for Carmody and the Cats.

Still lots of games to play and just like we couldn't get too down, we can't get too high off one win ... especially not with top 25 (or SHOULD be top 25) teams like Ohio State, Minnesota, Ill-noise and MSU in our next four games (DANG the Big Ten is loaded this year!).

But it is a quality win over a quality opponent and we did all the things we'd been talking about on the list -- make free throws and win the final four minutes.

So for tonight, turn that clock tower purple!:)
