[NU Sports] Wrigley Field IS Big Enuff for NU Football (?)

Are you serious?

As a season ticket/parking holder I despise the traffic around Ryan. Getting to Wrigley and its nightmarish parking situation would be so much worse.

I have good seats at Ryan. There is no way comparable sightlines would be available.

Wrigley is also not a very nice stadium. If we filled our stadium to capacity I could understand pushing for soldier field with its 14K more seats, but still I would argue against.

As for the Ill-whine-i game, I like traveling down to chambana every other year. It is an easy drive and scalped tickets are of great quality and very inexpensive. I doubt they would ever agree to it as even in bad years they sell more tickets than wrigley holds.

Once. Okay I can accept trying the gimmick, but on an ongoing basis I would lobby strongly against it.

The measured it up and they can fit a football field in there

It would be great to have the annual NU - Ilnoise game there every year,
although the dimensions have changed a bit, it was fine for football, even
with a stone wall with dead Ivy only a couple feet past the end zone. I will
never forget how cold it was for the 1963 NFL championship game between the
Bears and Giants.
