Cats had a 48-47 lead. Crawford couldn't make free throws. Trevon Hughes of Wisconsin suddenly caught fire three-ball land. Ballgame.

Game had been, as Willie said, eminently winnable. 

Major bummer.

Winnable important game and NU missed way too many free throws, was beaten to way too many rebounds and couldn't do anything on offense down the stretch.    

An ugly game and outcome.

Cats will have to really battle to get it in gear in this toughest part of the schedule.
