As usual, our own Stewart Mandel has eloquently summed up the lunacy  
surrounding the Kiffin move to USC and shown what an empty suit young Kiffin  
really is:

I have no doubt that the Trojans will continue to reign supreme, but the  
carnage that Carroll and Kiffin have left in their wake is astounding.   
Nobody seems to care (least of all the NCAA) about what happens to those  
recruited by these nomads.  I have always been a Pete Carroll fan (from  when he 
coached the JETS), and I am willing to cut him some slack here, given  that 
he put in 9 years at Heritage Hall, but Kiffin?   He is a  streetwalker in 
coach's garb.  He's making me think Al Davis was right  about him.  I have had 
a soft spot for the Vols and their fans, since they  were very gracious 
after the Citrus Bowl (I remember talking to some at a  Morrisons Cafeteria 
with my dad and son an hour or so after the game, and they  really lauded the 
'Cats effort and aborted comeback.), and now I really feel for  them.  Now 
let's see whom their AD tries to poach.:-)
