Not that it matters much to Northwestern, at least until we meet USC in
the Rose Bowl next January, but I think the Kiffin hiring is a stroke of
genius on the part of USC.
UCLA is on the defensive. Everyone else in America is on the defensive.
>From a USC perspective, what's not to like?
I have spoken with Lane. Believe me, he is one capable football coach.
Tennessee was a much, much better team at the end of the season than at
the beginning.
He is bringing with him some extraordinary assistants, including his dad
the defense stud and super-recruiting guru Ed Orgeron. Maybe even the
quarterback Yoda, Norm Chow - we'll see.
In Kiffin, SC continues the Carroll culture that turned the program into
LA's resident NFL-style team.
Maybe SC gets knocked for the Reggie Bush stuff by the NCAA; maybe not.
Whatever. The NCAA police didn't exactly seem to put a dent in Alabama.
And now, over to you, Mr. Bendat :>
Go Wildcats!
Alan
