Chuck and List Friends,

We're 1-2, and we need to get to 3-6. To whit: Our next 2 games are home vs. Wisconsin and Purdue. An astute list member pointed out that their 2nd leading csorer, John Leuer (sp?) broke his wrist; we all remember the Butler game in our 1st "big test" after losing Coble and Ryan; I believe we'll beat Wiscy and lose to Purdue. Then comes a nasy stretch of at OSU, Ill-noise, at Minn., at Mich. St. If someone can slow down Ill-noise's center ( I forgot his name; he scored 31 in Champaign, but I'm abscent minded by nature), we should win that one, and even if we lose the other 3, 3-6 in conference looks pretty damn good, Barring injury.
Then comes "the fun". 4 out of 5 at home: Mich., Indiana, at Iowa , Minn. and PSU. We need to take 4 of 5 , making our record 7-7. A split at Wisconsin, home vs. Iowa ; we're 8-8. On 2/28/10, we play a Noon (EST; 11:00 Cat Standard Time) game at Penn St., it may be the most important game in the history of our basketball program. Yours truly will be there with purple socks, purple underwear, etc., to insure the "W".
A lay-up vs. chicago St., and then...drum roll please...we need to get the "W" at Indiana, and you know Tom Cream (a great coach) will have IU ready. If we get to 9-8, I say we'll get to 10-8. We're in for so much fun our faces will break from smiling!

          GO CATS!!! Eric

Eric (or some other hoops guy here on the list):

We are now 1-2 in the league - how do the next 15 games play out to get us to 9-6 ? I have heard said that we might need a tournament win in Indy ? What are our best guesses for the road ahead ? Was a game at Michigan a loss on most people's projection sheet ?

I may be in the minority, but I'm not concerned with rankings, only with
W's", specifically the 10 we need in conference to get to "the tournement". If
e go 10-8 in conference, and 12-1 outside conference, the ranking in March will
ake care of itself, and it will set Chicago on its ear.
      GO CATS!! Eric

went out to hit golf balls when the CATS!!! got down by 16 and was
ansfixed watching the DVR replay of the comeback, granted the young Wolfies
re clumsy but Crawford and company showed that they are for real. When we
at the Badgers at home on Wednesday maybe we get ranked...
