[NU Sports] Alamo Bowl analysis...

My feeling is that, like most stories like this, the real truth lies
somewhere in between what each side is saying. I was joking with my
wife (an MSU alum) that they should have renamed this the Soap Opera
Bowl. Between the MSU suspensions and the TTU coaching mess, the
off-the-field stories have gotten more attention than the game.

On a football note, we're a little annoyed that the announcers aren't
giving MSU any chance at all. Yeah, they appear to be getting
outplayed, but they're only down six. If they can hold TTU on the
opening possession (and my wife tells me they just recovered a fumble),
they're in this game.

Couldn't they say, "If his allegations are true, then...", instead of "That's a very strange way to treat a concussion". I have no dog in the fight, but it seems to me to be a HUGE disservice to ESPN's reporting objectivity to ASSUME the kid of their analyst is being 100% truthful when plenty of evidence is suggesting otherwise.
