What a great article - thanks for posting the link.

I think we all had little thoughts in our heads after the tackle as to the play itself (I didn't like going to the short side of the field, others wanted Kafka in, etc. and the cameraman being fooled added to the sloppiness, probably) ... but the morning after, I don't think any of us question the overall decision on going for the win. I like the attitude of Fitz and the team before and after the call. It's just unfortunate we couldn't have that storybook ending.

Nice line in that article as well about Fitz willing the program to this game, and that's probably true as well. We had TebowCam last night (ugh) ... I want FitzCam at every Cats game now. If you can't get excited playing for him, I don't know what's wrong with you.

Oh well, the morning after and the haze has cleared a bit. It still hurts, yes, but it's all part of being a fan of an underdog like NU. We get higher highs and lower lows than Gator fans or Yankee fans ... and better perspective after it's done as well. Those two yards are painful, but it's been a heck of a season and a wild ride I'm glad to be on board for -- looking ahead to next year's ride.
