Some observations from a rather blah third quarter ...

* I LOVE seeing Fitz all pumped up on the sidelines - they need a coach cam on him all game as his enthusiasm is just contagious!

* What a beautiful INT by Peters ... unfortunately our pics look good but are out at the 1 with no return while theirs go 100 yards for six :(

* Our defense is playing a heck of a game - the soggy field conditions should be all Auburn's favor with their north-south run game but our D is doing a nice job giving our O chance after chance to get back in.

* Our offense has slowed after the first quarter -- Auburn adjusted and McCall hasn't.

* Just pointing out ... the weather in Pasadena and Phoenix today is a perfect 70s and sunny. We need to get more bowl games out west against the Pac 10 and fewer in the SEC's back yard with all this mud and muck.:)

I hope we can mount a comeback, but our offense looks spent and frustrated right now with no new options ... we're going to need the D to not just make a great pick, but score off it. Paging Mr. Wootton? BTW, Corey may be quiet, but Vince Browne is having a heck of a day while the Auburn O-like keys on #99.

Go Big Ten!
GO CATS!!!

PS - Another rainy slopfest in Orlando ... only this time, the weather may help the Big Ten as long as they don't get turnover happy.
