Auburn will get the ball to start the half, so I hope our defense is ready for a stop. Don't rule out a surprise onside kick, we're inches away from being desperate.

Subject: [NU Sports] End of the half ...
Disappointing quarter, as we had a couple BIG chances to get back in the game (4th down stop, good kickoff return ... wait, did we really have a good kickoff return??? WOW) and let it go. And then a gift chance to get back in before half and another friggin INT on a bad throw.
Our D really has only allowed one TD drive (nice push off by the Auburn receiver) - we just have to execute better on offense. No more turnovers and smarter play calling (they adjusted to our inside option and short routes, McCall needs to change and mix up the plays a bit -- go deep some, use double routes, use their aggressiveness against them).
Big play by McManis with the INT to keep it from getting way out of control and McCall FINALLY realized we need to attack deep and be aggressive on offense. But that last interception was a killer.
So we go into the locker room down 14 -- with two picks in the end zone.
Really, we've dominated this game. Four scoring chances - one pick returned by them, one pick to end a half, one missed FG and one TD. And their first TD was a gift from us as well.
So frustrating because we should be up big - C'MON CATS!!!
Go Big Ten!
GO CATS!!!
