[NU Sports] say goodnight Gracie

IF we can beat Iowa at home, we're looking at 7-11 in the Big Ten and probably an 8/9 seed in the tourney.  That would get us the #1 seed in the second game, if we can win our first.

Despite all this team's effort and promise, it's shaping up to be like most other years.

We still shoud get an NIT bid, but who knows?  We faced a pretty easy schedule in the second half and have underperformed badly.

Well, spring sports look to be pretty solid.

I was right to be worried about Penn State but I surely thought NU would win the home game.

An awful, uninspiring and embarrassing loss that will earn NU jeers and laughter as inept and pathetic -- and all deserved.

Until this team can beat Penn State on a regular basis it will go nowhere.
