Losing to Duke(Cameron Indoor) is one thing, but losing to the Hog-eyes(Carver-Hawkeye) is totally different.

It was bombs away in Cameron Indoor, and the Cats were on the receiving end.

The effectively took Drew out of the game, and their center pounded Luka - they tried Rowley but he was out of position too many times, and Peljusic was fouling too much inside.

I did like Marcotullio's shooting, but he was too little too late, he did rack up a steal and a couple of boards.

What really bothered me was what appeared to be the return of the no offensive rebound game by NU - Iowa seemed to get ALL off the offensive boards at both ends We had 10 offensive, they had 28 defensive (our end of the floor) They had more defensive rebounds than we did total. Some of that was due to ticky tacky fouls called on NU that caused our guys to hold back a bit.

But in the final analysis, it's hard to beat a team shooting 50% when you are shooting 43%. We stepped it up in the 2nd half, but they did too.

Well, revenge will be sweet in Evanston. I Hope.

I'm afraid that it appears to be Iowa's night. They are shooting
better than 50% beyond the arc! Everybody but the mascot seems to be
able to drain a three. Only hope is that the power goes out in the
gymn and the real
Iowa team is back when the lights come back on.
