[NU Sports] I think NU does control own destiny

I agree with Brad that the Cats control their own destiny, except I
think that just 7-1 (or maybe even 6-2) over our remaining schedule
would guarantee a bid.

7-1 assumes a loss at Wisconsin, but we beat Minnesota at home
(something of a key game, I think) and Iowa and PSU twice and IU in
Bloomington plus pick up the remaining non-conference game. We can't
have any letdowns, but this is not an impossible scenario.

7-1 would give us an overall record of 23-8 and a conference record of
11-7. We probably would not get a bye in the first round of the Big
Ten tournament, so we should pick up at least one win against one of
the worst conference teams in the first round of the tournament, then
even if we lost in the second round, our final record would be 24-9
and 12-8.

6-2 is less of a lock, but should still give us a good chance of
getting in. I think we need more than 20 wins, though. That's
clearly no longer enough. So anything less than 6-2 down the stretch
will require us to win at least 2 games in the Big Ten tournament, I
think.
