[NU Sports] Indy plays Perdoo tough

Steven and List Gang,

   Crean is the best coach in the conference; in a a year and a half he's turned a bunch of freshmen and bench-warmers into a tough team, especially at home.  Still, they lost to Iowa at home last week; that was a surprise.   Not sure if it helps or hurts, but we had 5 days to prepare for IU, while IU played a tough game on Thursday night.  Our legs should be fresh.
   Looking at the Big 10 standings, its clear that MSU. Purdue, Wisky and Ohio St. are locks for the tournement.  Ohio St. is a differant team with Evan Turner, arguably the best player in the country; for sure a first team All-American.
   So that leaves NU, Minnesota and Ill-noise duking it out for what will probably be 2 slots.  Let's talk about Ill-noise; a 7-3, 15-8 record; nearly a carbon copy to NU.  Their final 8 games include 2 with Sparty, 4 with OSU, Purdue and Wisconsin (combined; not sure where the games are played, etc).  Only Minnesota and Michigan at home look like probable wins for Illinois.  Road games have been an adventure, and losses to Georgia and Bradley won't help.  They will struggle from this point moving forward; GO SPARTY TONIGHT!!  
   Minnesota:  9 games left (they're 4-5 in conference);  their schuedule is much more manageablre than Illinois's.  They have 3 games vs. the top 4; 6 vs. the rest of the conference.
  The home game we have vs. Minnesota is huge, especially for the Cats providing we keep winning games we should win.i.e. Indiana Sunday night.  
  Not included in this synopsis is the Big 10 conference tournement. Could be a doozy this year.

Well, to be fair, you truly can throw out records when IU and Purdue play.
Also, Tom Crean is one heck of a coach -- IU won't be down for long.
That said, we MUST beat Indiana, Iowa and PSU every chance we get to play them 
his year. It's just a must.
