Amen! I agree completely - have flown a couple times since the new security measures. It sucks, but not really any more than it did last year.

I will also not be in Dallas - my travel money went to a Christmas trip to Alaska to see my new nephew ... totally worth it! :) Besides, there's really only one bowl game that matters these days - I'll watch the Big Ten games and may catch a bit of the so-called title game, but despite the efforts of the B(C)S cartel ... and the presence of Cheeseheads, the Rose Bowl is the high point of bowl season.

I don't understand why the Citrus Bowl folks allowed the Gator and Outback to be in direct competition with it this year, but I like how we are once again opening off Bowl Day to ourselves for the national audience - hopefully we can give 'em a good show like we did in Tampa and San Antonio the past couple years.
