Nice to life in SF !
With the fans not used to sitting outside in frigid weather for a game (How many years has it been since they played outdoors in Minny ?) I would guess that they may not have a seating problem with the smaller capacity. Then again I don't know Minnesotans. Perhaps like their rivals in Green Bay, they may thrive on bad weather and look forward to it

Not a lot of other Big Ten related news today, so I thought it might be
worth mentioning that the Vikings have decided the Metrodome roof
cannot be repaired in time to host the Bears on the 20th, so they're
planning to move the game to TCF Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Gophers.
The current forecast for Monday night is for single-digit temperatures.
Frozen tundra, anybody?
They've put out a call for volunteers to come help shovel the snow from
the stadium seating area, and they still haven't announced how they're
going to handle the ticket issue, complicated by the fact that TCF Bank
only seats 50,000 and there are 54,000 Vikings season ticket holders.
(Whether beer sales will be permitted has also not been announced, I don't
know if the NCAA or the Big Ten has any rules covering that.)
