Well, the grumbling on the Husker List is that the Big XII didn't want a 3 hour
infomercial for the Big Ten in one of 'their' bowls, so they 'encouraged' the 
pairing of the Huskers with Washington in a rematch that nobody will care much about.

I think Tom Osborne nailed it well before the season started when he said 
that the Huskers weren't going to get any favors from the conference this season.  
However, the Huskers played miserably last night, and that wasn't anybody's fault 
except Nebraska's.  Four turnovers and zero points in the second half isn't going
to win many games against teams like Oklahoma.
