Its great for kafka but underscores my concern for the Cats. Even though I have high regard for Persa,he is no Kafka. Having a QB of NFL caliber (even if borderline) probably resulted in a few extra wins for us last year. Thus I just don't see us repeating last year's record. (Would love to eat crow on that, believe me)

Mike Kafka threw his first professional TD tonight (yes, I know it's the
preseason)--an 18-yard strike to beat Kansas City 20-17.  It was the 4th quarter
and he started the drive with the ball on the 20, 2:00 on the clock, and a 13-17
deficit.  On the drive, he was 6-7 for 75 yards passing + another 5 running.

I'm telling you, the man looked like he was born to run that spread (wonder
where he learned that?)...it was a pretty damn impressive performance.  And yes,
it was against the Chiefs, but the KC Defense had held Philly without a TD for
the previous_58_ minutes of game time.
