Don't get too excited by the many, many rumors that will swirl around before
Delaney announces that he has contacted commissioner(s) of affected
conferences.  This one has already been scotched by the Mizzou athletic
director:

I agree with the columnist and the rumor that when all is said and done,
Mizzou will be at least one of the schools admitted if not the only one.  I
suspect the move to 16 will get serious consideration as I see 14 doing
nothing exceptional for the conference.  To me, it's 12 or 16 and ND won't
come, then 12 is not as beneficial as 16 will be; so many new markets, so
many new eyeballs for the BTN.
