 BTW I think, though am not certain, that Randy Dean was a walk on. And both he and his twin brother,Rob were on the US olympic Handball team in 1976

Both were nearly 4.0 students in Engineering

According to the NFL's draft site, Kafka is just the 4th QB ever drafted from NU.

The others:

Otto Graham, 1944 by Detroit Lions (1st round, 4th overall pick)
Tom Myers, 1965 by Detroit Lions (4th round)
Randy Dean, 1977 by the NY Giants (5th round)

I was disappointed that BB wasn't drafted, but remain elated for Mike.
