I keep thinking that Paul Stevens lost his biggest fan ;-)

Everytime I saw his name on the post I eagerly awaited the response posts.

My sympathies go out to his family.  They lost a very passionate man.

While I didn't always agree with what John said and while some of what
he said infuriated and angered me from time to time, I am saddened by
his passing.  We didn't even get a chance as a group to say goodbye nor
to actually meet F2F.  It seems as if he had a full life beyond his
passion for NU and NU sports reading his obituary and his son's comment
about knowing where John stood on any issue was SO true....

His contributions to the NU Sports List community will be missed,
especially since they sparked so many discussions and debates.  Here's
hoping the FB team wins this week for John.
