I lurk more than I post here but I have to chime in to remember John.

I was very saddened to read about his passing. He certainly was a feisty 
poster on this list, but people like that make the list (and life) more 
interesting and fun. I also admire people who take a stand and stick 
with it come heck or high water and no matter what "everyone" thinks. 
The world could use more people like that.

We exchanged a few emails off the board on some occasions and he seemed 
like a very passionate and good-hearted fan who really loved his Cats.

I am saddened that I never had the chance to meet him fact to face but I 
am glad I at least got to "know" him (for lack of a better term) in this 
venue.

May he rest in peace.
