[NU Sports] At the end

He was a "co-offensive POW" shared with Michigan's RB Carlos Brown last
week, for the record. But, it's hard to argue against a guy that completed
16 consecutive passes to start the game and set a school record for
completion percentage while throwing for almost 400 yards and became the
first Big Ten player in 5 years to record a TD passing, rushing, and
receiving.
I concur that guys really only deserve awards if in winning efforts,
although I acknowledge that in today's "fantasy football" world, huge stats
carry a ton of weight. He did have a big error on the night (the INT that
turned into Syracuse's game winning FG drive) and NU lost, but in today's
stat-driven world it's hard to dismiss those numbers, especially when there
wasn't a ton of other performances as well rounded as his that week.
