That's apparently not a lot of cash to Huskers fans who have been selling
out their stadium for decades and are perfectly willing to shell out cash to
watch their team (they wouldn't be doing PPV if people weren't paying for
it, especially at such a high price).

Be thankful that the Big Ten decided to launch its own cable/satellite
network that keeps games accessible to the vast majority of people (at least
once the squabbling with cable companies was over) at a minimal additional
cost (compared to PPV).  As we're seeing with schools such as Duke and
Syracuse, many schools are going to online streaming to get their games out
there, so at least there is an option here.
