[NU Sports] Yesterday's video review

The other problem is that you can't call a penalty on a replay.  So even 
if the refs missed the call and the EMU guy wasn't blocked into Smith's 
way (I haven't gone back and looked yet), they couldn't call the penalty 
and give the ball to NU.  All they could do at that point was see who it 
hit first and make the appropriate call from there.

I agree that it seemed like an awfully late replay buzz though.  When 
the signal comes down at the last minute, you can usually see the ref 
running in with his arms waving as the ball is snapped and the play 
usually gets blown dead well before it finishes.  This time, the play 
finished and they were spotting the result when all of a sudden it got 
called back.  Once again, I need to go back and watch.
