Well, a game I couldn't root for either side.? But you have to hand it to USC.? An absolutely amazing final drive, with clutch plays by the kid QB and McKnight, and fantastic blocking.? Jim Tressel proved that he is just NOT a big-game coach.? He is tooooooo conservative, and plays not to lose, while Pete Carroll (whom my beloved, idiot Jets fired after one season many years ago) always plays to win.? He takes risks because he believes in his players and his system.? It is inconceivable to me that with the field position that they enjoyed throughout, the Bucks only scored 15, of which 2 were on the gift safety.? tOSU is just as risk-aversive and just as prone to choke as it was back in the day when I was at NU and Woody was their HC.? The only thing that has changed is that the SHOE holds many more people than it used to.? Is it just me, or Terrell Pryor regressing?? He looked more and more tentative as the night went on.?? I think part of the reason is that in Tressel's syst
 em, Pryor is scared to make a mistake, while Matt Barkley was unleashed as the game got into the final stages.? I know that SJT wanted a Big Ten win here, but forgive me for a huge dose of Schadenfrude; I hate the Bucks that much.
