[NU Sports] Big Ten Bowl Game at YANKEE STADIUM? 'CATS at YANKEE

I can confirm that as of two years ago (May, 2007), when my daughter,  
Lauren, graduated from Newhouse, the Dome, despite being named for Carrier  
(which used to produce air conditioning units in Syracuse, but now has virtually 
 no presence there), is not air conditioned.   Fortunately, it wasn't a  
very hot day for the Commencement exercises.  However.....
 
When we first took Lauren to campus Fall of her freshman year, there was a  
Convocation/Family Picnic in the Dome (in late August), and it was hot as  
blazes.
 
I'm sure the Dome is a great place for hoops (albeit with bad sight lines), 
 but I didn't like it much for FB, when, for Parents Weekend, we were 
treated to  the exciting matchup between 'Cuse and Temple.  And it was hot then,  
too.
