[NU Sports] Watching NU from overseas?

I don't think this includes anything that one can't get on the BTN on
cable/satellite if they are living in the U.S. (i.e. they should be showing
the same content). The BTN doesn't have rights to the Syracuse game (not a
BT home game) so it won't be available there. (Although, as previously
mentioned here, the Syracuse game will be at least available streaming from
the SU sports website SUathletics.com - available both within and outside
the US.) In terms of basketball, I know the BTN televised at least some
preseason/exhibition games before and they do televise EVERY home men's
basketball game (if not already on CBS or ESPN/2) - so one can get many of
the NU games that way.

I'm almost positive that the BTN has restrictions on who can actually stream
from the site to effectively block those within the U.S. from watching the
Big Ten Ticket since it is available to anyone in the US via their cable
operator or by switching to satellite. There are ways to get around those
restrictions, sure, but it's probably too much effort relative to just
getting it on cable/satellite.
