[NU Sports] Persa is not the answer for next year

I wasn't overly impressed by Persa's performance today, but I cannot judge his potential from what I saw. The O-line was awful tonight and he was basically running backwards once the snap arrived. I think he can win games for us if he has 2-3 seconds to find a receiver. I sure hope so, because if Kafka really did injure his hamstring, he's probably not going to play next week.

I've now seen enough of Dan Persa to tell me that that he should not be our QB of the future. I sure hope Evan Watkins or the new recruit from Florida will step up. Persa is too small and seems too often to be lost out there. -- Jim B.
