attendance & revenue by giving away tickets:

It's obviously not a strategy that completely translates to college
football, but maybe NU can use some concepts.

One idea is just to give away tickets to one (or more) nonconference home
game(s) a year and do what they did, which is collect personal information
which can be used to directly advertise in the future (so NU can more easily
target packages to families, tailgating opportunities to 20/30-somethings,
etc.).
