It's about a 7 block walk (long blocks) from the Berkeley Bart station to Memorial Stadium, winding very pleasantly through the campus. It's like 2 blocks from the CalTrain to Stanford Stadium.

> This is a minor point (given the probability) but I seem to remember that the
riginal permit for the lakefill was 160 acres. I remember hearing that phase I
as only 83 acres and that NU had the ability to essentially double it in the
uture. This is just a factoid from a former campus tour guide, it does change
he uphill battle it would take. Moving the stadium away from mass transit just
oesn't make sense.
Um, which mass transit? The Foster El stop would be about as close to a
akefill stadium as the Central Avenue stop is to Dyche. I guess the
owntown CNW (or whatever it's called these days) station might be a few
locks further away.
Anybody ever tried to take mass transit to any of the other stadiums
n the conference, or to ANY major college football stadium?
