The junior doctors - Hawkeye, et al., were all Ivy League guys, as I remember - altho
Spearchucker was from Cal or USC.

Mclean Stevenson (another NU product) wanted to have his Col. Blake character 
be a Northwestern grad rather than an Illinois grad, but the color of
the Northwestern sweat shirt didn't work on camera.  (I don't believe 
the Richard Hooker book gave any college for Blake, though it did for 
several other characters.)
